Dylan Marshall, BS

Master’s Student

Dylan received his Bachelor’s degree in biology in 2022 from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. While at UNCW, he worked in the Behavioral Pharmacology and Comparative Cognition (ABC lab), researching the forgetting function in a rodent model of working memory. Additionally, he worked in the Zootomical Morphology of the Brain and Its Evolution (ZoMBiE) Lab, where he worked alongside the lab’s senior Ph.D. Student in developing a method to assess rates of neurogenesis in cartilaginous fish. Dylan joined the Clemens lab in the summer of 2022, where he is researching methods of predictively assessing opioid responsiveness. Like most graduate students, in his free time, Dylan enjoys catching up on lab work and reading textbooks but somehow still finds the time to go on walks and spend time with friends and family.
