Martina Porter De Cristofaro, BS
Lab Manager
Martina received her Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology in 2021 from the University of Parma, Italy. Her undergraduate research focused on defining the role of sodium current inactivation gating on neuronal activity. After graduation, she began working for the Sciolino lab at the University of Connecticut as Lab Manager, where she focused on defining the role of locus coeruleus circuits in motivated behavior. She joined the Clemens Lab during fall 2022 after moving to North Carolina. Outside of the lab, Martina enjoys working out, running, and cooking Italian food.
